You can rename any recorded session and/or clips on Gameshots to categorize important sessions or clips, making it a lot easier to find them when required.


To rename a recorded clip or a session

  • Launch Gameshots on your desktop and tap the Play button on the left-hand side
  • Click on the "My sessions" tab, where you can view all of your recorded gameplay
  • To rename a session, tap the three dots located at the bottom of the desired session and select "Rename session". You can then type in the new name and confirm it
  • To rename a clip, choose a session that contains the clip to be renamed and press the thumbnail of the desired clip
  • Tap the Pencil icon available at the top of the video clip and enter the new name

How can I rename a recorded session or clip?


1. Launch Gameshots on your desktop and tap the play button icon.



2. To find a specific session, you can either search for it or click on the "Sort by date" button to rearrange all the sessions which are shown on your screen.



3. To rename a session:

a) Tap the three stacked dots located at the bottom of the desired session.



b) Choose "Rename session" from the drop-down option.



c) Enter the new session name and tap "Confirm" to proceed.


Note: You're allowed a maximum of 24 characters for the name.



4. To rename a clip:

a) Choose a session under where the clip is located.



b) Click on the thumbnail of the clip which you'd like to rename. If the clip isn't shown, click on "More".



c) Click on the pencil icon.



d) Type in the new clip name and press "Enter" on your keyboard.


Note: You're allowed a maximum of 24 characters for the name.



That's all folks! You can now rename any recorded Gameshots session or clip to easily find them later.
